Shipping Policy

At Anand Books, we aim to dispatch and deliver orders in a timely and transparent manner. Please read the details below regarding shipping timelines and charges.

1. Delivery Areas & Timelines

Agra (Local Delivery)

  • Orders placed before 3:00 PM are eligible for same-day delivery, subject to product availability.

  • Orders placed after 3:00 PM are generally delivered on the next working day.

  • Same-day delivery is applicable within selected local service areas of Agra.

Other Cities Across India

  • Orders are delivered within 4–7 working days from dispatch.

  • Delivery timelines may vary depending on location, courier serviceability, and unforeseen circumstances.

  • Remote or rural areas may require additional delivery time.

We currently ship within India only. International shipping is not available at this time.

2. Shipping Charges

  • Shipping charges are calculated automatically at checkout based on:

    • Delivery location

    • Total order weight

  • All applicable shipping charges are displayed before payment confirmation.

  • There are no hidden charges.

3. Order Processing & Dispatch

  • Orders are processed within 24 working hours (excluding Sundays and public holidays).

  • Orders placed on Sundays or holidays are processed on the next working day.

  • Once dispatched, customers receive tracking details via SMS, WhatsApp, or email (where applicable).

4. Courier Partners

We use reputed courier partners such as:

  • XpressBees

  • Delhivery

  • DTDC

  • India Post

  • Other recognized logistics providers

Courier partner selection depends on serviceability and delivery location.

5. Cash on Delivery (COD)

  • COD is available only for selected serviceable locations within Agra.

  • COD may not be available for all products or pin codes.

6. Delivery Delays

While we strive to deliver orders within the estimated time, delays may occur due to:

  • Weather conditions

  • Public holidays

  • Courier service disruptions

  • Incorrect delivery address provided by customer

Anand Books is not responsible for delays caused by external logistics providers; however, we will assist customers in tracking their orders.
